Some autoimmune diseases affect the brain, like Multiple Sclerosis; perhaps people with this type of autoimmunity think and feel themselves as a radical mistake in the Universe’s creation. Along the same line, most likely people affected with Lupus were subjected to slavery or subservience in their past lifetimes and think and feel that others still have the power over them. Therefore they believe they should remain submissive, and their low-self esteem manifests in their skin. Maybe the opposite occurred in people with Arthritis, who were very powerful in their previous lifetimes and who got used to criticism; so they brought it back to themselves as a souvenir in this lifetime.
